Moving into a care home can be very daunting so Live-in care is another alternative to care provision if your home is able to accommodate an area for the carer. This is a great option if you still want the comfort of your own home but need around the clock care.
The Carer will assist with all aspects of daily living, personal care, nutrition, medication, some light chores, post by agreement, changing the bed, washing clothes, washing up, emptying bins.
It is always to be remembered that the carer is not a cleaner but he or she will do light essential needs such as hoovering. The carer will also accompany with any social activities and make arrangements for shopping.
All would be agreed upon assessment, listening in the first instance to your requirement, then coming as near as possible to achieve safety and happiness.
