Palliative Care

Palliative Care also known as end of life care. A type of medical care that aims to improve the quality of life for people with serious or terminal illnesses and their families.
Palliative Care is generally protecting, skin, nutrition, preventing falls, bed care arrangements, equipment, medication. All provided as respectfully and with dignity for the patients wellbeing and comfort. It is generally a fluid plan of care which will update and move with the situation, gaining consent for all moves and changes as far as practicable.

Senior trained carers will be involved as well as one of our nurses overseeing the situation for quality of life to safely continue. Full liaison, as with all our provisions, with the patients as well as nearest and dearest. With consent from all involved.
